i was raised in an incredibly musical household, and grew up listening to the classics. my parents’ collection was mostly made up of stuff that didn’t air on the radio when they bought it, so from really early on I was listening to the velvet underground, bowie, the talking heads, hendrix, leloup, miles davis, and countless others from around the world, in various languages. it kind of forced me to be incredibly open, and I formed a sense of what I liked. from there, it was mostly chance - happening on a great band at a festival, or by suggestion. in any case, I love what I listen to (and that includes all styles, in fact, I have days where all I can listen to is jazz), and I’m happy that I can share that with people. thanks for the compliment, and I hope that I help you discover some new artists to add to your lexicon, or at least remind you that there are people all around the world with the same taste as you - you’re not alone.

Ants Marching
Classic DMB, a great way to wake up. Their concerts are so great, so much energy and room for the musicians, Dave really lets them show off. One of my favourite concerts, thus far.
